Mercedes-Benz Touch app for iPhone and iPad

Control your new Mercedes-Benz S-Class entertainment system with your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad! Your car must have installed the SPLITVIEW display for COMAND or the Rear-Seat Entertainment system to connect the app via WiFi.
This version of the app only works with your COMAND system, if your S-Class was manufactured before June 1st 2015.

With the virtual rotary controller, your passengers can easily navigate the COMAND system and access all of the entertainment features and settings. Use the app to switch the vehicle’s display through the Navi, Radio, Media, Internet, and Vehicle menus. The Seats function quickly configures the seat contour and seat massage programs.

Remote control pairing instructions are available online at http://mbtouchapp.com/setup/s-class. After connecting your Apple device via WiFi and authorizing the remote control, the following functions will be available to you:

• Zoom and scroll the map in the car and see the details of the navigation destination.

*** Radio & Media ***
• Select which music or videos you want to play and control the playback.
• Control the volume of your wired headphones directly from the app.

*** Internet ***
• Use the iPhone keyboard to directly enter search terms or URLs to the car.
• MB Touch makes your device a touchpad for mouse control in the COMAND web browser.

*** Vehicle ***
• Manage contour seat adjustments and massage programs directly from your iPhone.

Control the Mercedes-Benz COMAND Online system from any seat in the new V-Class (model series 447) with your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. Operation of the COMAND Online system by smartphone or tablet is only possible when the vehicle is stationary.

• The app enables maps to be zoomed and moved to any interesting location (e.g. area surrounding the destination currently set in the navigation system).

• Select the source from which you wish to play music or videos and control playback.
• Control the volume throughout the vehicle.

*** Internet ***
• Use the keypad of your Apple device to enter search terms, or enter the internet address directly.
• MB Touch turns your Apple device into a touchpad to control the mouse in the browser.

*** Vehicle ***
• Control the vehicle settings directly from your Apple device.
